Spoiler for Samsung Galaxy Tab 2

Another issue about Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is out. Looks like Samsung really put many forth into this Second Generation of Galaxy Tab. What are the specifications of this second generation? Let’s check it out!

The Galaxy Tab has barely been out a week, but Samsung are already showing off what we can expect to see from its eventual successors. Rolling up at the FPD International Expo in Tokyo, old Sammy had a fair few tidbits to share on its forthcoming Android-packing, iPad-battling tablet family.

First up was the news that new models of the Galaxy Tab will be sporting Super AMOLED screens. When the first Tab was just a tiggle in our rumour filled minds there was initially much talk of the Samsung tablet making use of Super AMOLED displays. Though it eventually shipped with a Super TFT-LCD screen, it looks as though that initial rumour will now come to fruition.

Including a Super AMOLED screen will make an already very capable media player and web browser all the more alluring, with the screen reolution jumping from 1024 x 600 to 1200 x 600. It’s expected that a Super AMOLED model will launch in 2011.

Elsewhere, Samsung were also showing off a 10.1 LCD prototype. Though they were parading the screen as an “electronic book reader”, it doesn′t take much of a stretch of the imagination to figure out this will likely be making the jump to a larger tablet form.

Afterall, Samsung executives have already revealed that the Galaxy Tab is just the first in a long line of slate devices the company have planned.

“Based on our market research, people have different desires, so we are definitely going to have different sizes of tablets”, said D J Lee, head of global sales and marketing, Samsung Mobile HQ at this year′s IFA conference, “And there will be tablets at different price points too”.

Samsung′s JK Shin expanded further:”Next year, you will see a variety of different tablets from our company. There will be a Honeycomb tablet device; there will be an entire tablet device portfolio”.

The 10.1 inch model on show in Tokyo has a 1.8-mm thick LCD display with a 1024×600 resolution and 250nits brightness. It also covers 50 per cent of the NTSC colour gamut. Whereas the original Tab was just about pocketable, a 10.1 inch model would put it into direct competion with Apple’s iPad. The tablet war could get very interesting very soon indeed.

Love iPhone? Try the Mini Version!

All of you iPhone lovers surely know that iPhone is large. Now, Mac release another version of iPhone that can be easily saved in your pocket. Please welcome, the iPhone Mini!

Once a year Apple releases a new version of the iPhone, and once a year we hear rumors that Apple is working on a smaller version of the iPhone, last year we were told it was the iPhone Nano, and now Bloomberg are reporting that Apple will be releasing an iPhone Mini this year.

As with all these rumors, I tend to take them with a pinch of salt, but what Bloomberg are reporting would make sense for Apple, as a smaller iPhone would open up a new market for Apple.

According to the Bloomberg report, the new iPhone Mini could retail for $200 without a contract, which would open up the iPhone to a more budget market.

The reported prototype of the iPhone Mini is supposedly one third smaller than the existing iPhone and also features no home button. This smaller and cheaper iPhone would open up a whole new market for Apple and allow them to compete with budget Android smartphones.

Want to Feel How to Step on Your Keyboard? Try this Keyboard Slippers!

What is the important tool for PC-users to create inputs?

Mouse? No

Voice? Can be used, but think again!

Yes, the answer is “Keyboard”. Even for this post, I used a keyboard to input them. Ever think about step on it? Be happy because you can do it now with this Kito Keyboard Slippers.

Computer nerds can rejoice this summer with these featured Kito Keyboard Slippers. The company from Thailand has released an unusually comfy pair of flip-flops in the shape of keyboards. The design features a full scaled-down computer keyboard that will not only look super technologically advanced, but will also massage your feet with its little keys.

The Kito Keyboard Slippers are available in a variety of colors to match your preference. We’re a little upset however that it doesn’t come with a USB cord to attach to your desktop.

What’s great is, aside from the comfy button keys that mildly massage your soles, these Kito’s can be had via online retail hub Yaseminstore. Officially designated the Kito Keyboard 2.0, the rubber pair of foot adornments doesn’t have a USB port or Bluetooth compatibility. What it lacks in specs it more than makes up for in fashion statement.

Of course, as a fashion statement the Kito lies beyond the pale, a strange lend of appalling aesthetics and no-brainer design. Then again, you can say the same about Frank Gehry’s buildings. Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.

The sizes available are from 36 to 41. Color schemes (for them foot straps) are either in yellow, red, or dark blue. Each pair wills et you back $29. Not bad for your footwear collection.

Let’s Take a Shot with Sony Cybershot!

Work in Photography World? Then you surely don’t want to miss this Digital Camera. Sony has a new present for you all that work in photography world, Sony Cyber-shot HX100V and Hx9V. What so unique about this camera? Let’s check it out!

Two new additions to the Cyber-shot line have apparently leaked, and while they’re perhaps not as titillating as some other consumer electronics the company has managed to let slip ahead of their announcement, we’ll bring them to you just the same. First is the HX100V, a 30x zoom (27 – 810mm) compact that borrows some features and styling from the Alpha line. It has a 16.2 megapixel backside-illuminated sensor with BIONZ processing capable of recording 1080p video and, supposedly, has GPS in there somewhere too. Next up is the HX9V, pictured below, a rather more compact compact offering what looks to be the same 16 megapixel sensor but tucked behind a smaller, 16x optical zoom lens. It too is said to do 1080p video but, alas, we don’t have any clue about price or availability for either.
