iUnika has released their latest ultra-light cheap netbook that is able to charge when you are simply sitting with it in the sun. This solar-powered laptop has left behind the problems associated with battery life which is the biggest barrier to portable computing. However, this $180 Gyy netbook from iUnika cannot run heavy-graphics computer games, but still the netbook is perfect for anyone trying to get a cheap and ultimate computing solution.

The Gyy ultra portable netbook features a small 8-inch LCD display and maintains its low price stand with relatively lower profile elements such as a processor of 400 MHz and 128 MB of RAM. But the durability of these sustainable components of this device has really made the netbook different form others. The body of this computer is furnished with biodegradable and bioplastic materials made from cellulose and starch. These materials allow the users to recycle the netbooks easily during the end of its life.

This netbook is perfect for those developing countries that are facing power grid problems and best of all, the solar panels of this netbook is mounted on the backside of the display, as a result, charging through solar energy is very much easy to reach.
